Using natural light and the lush backdrop of Atlanta's parks and gardens, Marti strives to capture the spirit of each person in her images. Portrait locations can include your own garden or yard setting.

Marti's passion for capturing the spirit of a person motivates her to connect with each person in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. Coming to photography with a profound respect for everyone she meets, Marti's purpose is to show not only the surface beauty in each person, but the spiritual beauty as well. She believes that all of us have a unique beauty to present to the world.

The process of preparing your photographs starts before you arrive for your scheduled portrait appointment. Marti will interview you either in person or via phone to determine exactly what you want from your portrait session. Based on her experience, she may also make recommendations as to clothing, location, and/or portraits you might like.

Once at the shooting session, Marti does not rush you through in order to get a specific number of photographs. The emphasis is on getting the right image for you, and one that you will be happy to display in your home for years to come.

Please plan to spend approximately 1 1/2 hours from the time you arrive for a portrait session, perhaps longer if the portrait includes more than two people.
